Community announcements
Mirror your Roblox community's announcements straight into a Discord channel. No setup on the Roblox side is required — MGS Link polls the group and forwards new posts for you.
Two ways to enable
- Dashboard — open Announcements, toggle it on, pick the Roblox group and the channel to post in. Optionally add a ping role or enable an @everyone ping.
- Discord — run
/communityannouncements enable channel:#updates. It defaults to your first configured Roblox group, or pass one with the group option.
How forwarding works
- A background job checks the watched group every few minutes.
- New posts are sent as a clean Components v2 card with the author, body, and a link back to the community.
- We track which posts have already been forwarded, so nothing is ever double-posted.
- When you first enable the feature, the existing backlog is not dumped into your channel — only posts made after you turn it on are forwarded.
Use cases
- Training and event notifications for roleplay groups.
- Game update notes pushed to your Discord the moment you post them on Roblox.
- UGC drops and limited releases.
Requirements & notes
- The group's wall/announcements must be publicly readable.
- MGS Link needs Send Messages in the target channel. If you enable the @everyone ping, it also needs Mention Everyone.
- Available on every plan, including Free.
